VITICULTURE AND WINEMAKING

Our wines are produced with grapes that grow at the foot of the Andes in the Uco Valley, Mendoza. The vineyards are located between 3,800 and 4,500 feet above sea level and grow on alluvial soils formed millions of years ago as a result of landslides in the mountains. The soils are stony, have little organic matter, and are ideal for grapes.

The processes always include noble materials such as concrete and new and used French oak, seeking on the one hand an integral expression of the place through the wine, as well as a unique wine that always prioritizes the enjoyment of different palates.

In this context, the winemaking consultancy for this project is in charge of Matías Michelini. He is a very passionate winemaker with extensive experience making great wines in quite hostile soils (Uco Valley, Bahía Bustamante, Gramado, Galicia, and Maimará, among others) and also with low-intervention agriculture. Mati is one of those “bottlers of landscapes” who seek with the highest precision to express the identity of a terroir through a bottle of wine. His winemaking expresses pure character and determination.

If talking about responsibilities, the vineyards are under the supervision of Manuel Pelegrina. one of the most important viticulturists in the Uco Valley.
